Amma’s UK Visit
It is our sincere hope and prayer that Amma will visit the UK in 2025, where she will be conducting free public programmes, including guided meditations, spiritual discourses, bhajans (devotional singing) and the opportunity to receive her darshan (embrace).

Experience Amma’s Tours
Receive Darshan
Amma welcomes all those who come to her with her motherly embrace, known as her darshan. During this hug, one can directly experience Amma’s unconditional love. On the last night of Amma’s programs in any given city, Amma also gives a mantra to all who wish to receive one.
Meditate with Amma
As an ambassador of peace, Amma offers us daily guided meditations to gain serenity. These include Amma’s MA-OM meditation, using simple mantras synchronized with the breath, and Amma’s white flower meditation for world peace. Amma invites us to gradually turn the mind inwards to experience of our own silent presence.
Listen to Amma’s talks
Amma gives profound and inspiring spiritual talks during her programs. In these talks, Amma offers words of wisdom and guidance on both personal fulfillment as well as the most pressing matters of our time.
Sing bhajans with Amma
Amma says that in today’s world, chanting is an especially effective spiritual practice: “By loud singing, one can overcome other distracting sounds and achieve concentration. Chanting, concentration, meditation—this is the progression.”
Volunteer
Amma’s visits are entirely volunteer-run, and provide seva (volunteer) opportunities for anyone who wishes to help. Beyond making the programs possible, doing seva is a spiritual practice intended to cultivate inner peace and a deep sense of personal fulfillment.

FAQ
Getting a ticket
A ticket system is set up to allow you to enjoy the activities offered in the hall while waiting for your embrace.
This free ticket is distributed onsite only, before each program, on a first-come, first-served basis. Each person, including babies, must be present to receive their ticket.
Amma’s visit attracts a growing number of people, so there can be long lines to receive tickets and then to receive her embrace. Planning to arrive early is the best option. If you arrive late, you may only have a darshan ticket for the next program.

Needing assistance
A team is available to welcome and accompany people requiring special assistance : people in wheelchairs, people with reduced mobility, and people with serious health problems.
We welcome you in a reserved area and keep a space inside the halls to facilitate your movements. The lobbies usually have access for disabled people.
Only one person can accompany the person requiring assistance for darshan. Other family members will have to join the main queue.
Important: there is no priority of passage, so please allow sufficient time.

Our customs and regulations
- Children must be under the supervision of an adult at all times.
- No use of alcohol, tobacco or illegal drugs is allowed on the program premises.
- Pets are not permitted in the programs. There can be an exception for service animals.
- No audio or video recording or photography is permitted.
- As per the Indian tradition, people are kindly requested to take off their shoes in some areas of the program.
Free of charge programs
In each country, hundreds to thousands of volunteers make it possible to invite Amma.
We aim at balancing the expenses of the event thanks to the meals benefits and specific program donations. This allows us to ensure that the proceeds from the stores and donations made during the program are fully donated to ETW and the public can continue to enjoy Amma’s visit for free.
Bringing a pet
Pets are not permitted in the programs. There can be an exception for service animals.
Programs are free and open to everyone. Shops’ proceeds and donations support Amma’s humanitarian initiatives across the globe.
