Meditation & Retreats
We offer IAM meditation courses and silent retreats throughout the year to promote mental, emotional and physical wellbeing, as well as community support in times of need.
Silent retreats
Amma often talks about the spiritual benefit of taking a day a month to be in silence and concentrate on one’s spiritual practices.
Run approximately 2–3 times a year, these retreats offer a precious opportunity to dive deep within and recharge your spiritual practice and inner connection.
Through walking and sitting meditation, yoga and reflection on spiritual quotes, participants access a deep state of peace and calm, experience a release of stress and tension, and a new sense of energy and resolve.

IAM Meditation
IAM Meditation
Initiated by Amma, IAM meditation – Integrated Amrita Meditation Technique® – is a simple combination of yoga, breathing exercises and meditation that takes just 35 minutes a day. There is also a 20-minute version for organisations (companies, hospitals, prisons, universities, etc.) and a version for young people (aged 10-14 and 14-18).
IAM a synthesis of time-tested traditional methods that takes into account the time constraints and needs of modern man….

How it works
IAM meditation is taught in two-day sessions. Sessions are held at our centre throughout the year. Sessions for young people are also organised. Finally, IAM20, the version for organisations, can be taught on request.
Instructors
All the instructors who teach the IAM technique are approved by Amma. They have a long practice of meditation and are specifically trained to teach IAM meditation.
They are committed to providing quality teaching. The courses are offered as a service to society and are free of charge.
