Spiritual Activities
Our spiritual activities are rooted in Amma’s values of love, compassion, tolerance and service.
Throughout the year, we offer activities in our centre and in our regional groups: saddhana day, meditation, yoga courses, programs to deepen Amma’s teachings, spiritual retreats, homas, festival celebrations, bhajans, etc.
Devotional singing (Bhajans)
Bhajans are poetic compositions sung in groups, prayers in a musical form. Their content can be devotional, while others address universal human values.
Singing together creates a joyful, meditative atmosphere and helps focus the mind on the divine. No prior experience is needed – just bring your voice and an open heart.
Join us for our practice, and our bhajan session and feel the power of collective singing in Amma’s unique style.

Festivals
We celebrate multicultural festivals throughout the year, including Diwali, Maha Shivaratri, Guru Purnima, Krishna Jayanti, Christmas and more…
Fire ceremonies
Homas and Poojas are very powerful and meditative form of worship. They create powerful spiritual vibrations and surround us with positive energy which can bring peace of mind as well as material progress.

Children’s programmes
Amrita Bala Kendra, inspired by Amma’s teachings, nurtures spiritual values, cultural awareness and scriptural knowledge in children.
Held biweekly via Zoom for ages 4 and above, the classes provide practical tools through stories, games, music and activities, making learning engaging and meaningful.

Along with the understanding of the outer world, it is essential that we also get to know the inner world.
